Here is Clint’s story!

Hormone FIT

“In September of 2013 I was involved in a serious motor vehicle crash where I sustained an immobilizing injury(s).  I fractured and dislocated my hip, fractured my foot, bruised my rotator cuff and fractured ribs.  I was unable to walk without crutches until approximately mid November 2013 just about the time I saw Kristin’s Hormone Fit opportunity.

Prior to starting this program and this crash I was an avid runner.  I ran in road races just about every weekend from 5K’s to half marathons.  I ran approximately 50-75 miles a week and that was the only exercise I completed.  Prior to this the only weight training/cardio programs I utilized were from training for my job.  My diet was poor, meaning I pretty much ate whatever I wanted. I thought the running alone would balance it out, which it did not.

In late October when I began my PT, I would go four to five times a week. Once I started Hormone Fit, I incorporated it into my training regiment along with the diet.  When I started this program I had also put on some extra weight due to the fact I was unable to do any type of physical activity from the crash.  I felt uncomfortable in my clothing and just daily activities.  In the initial photograph taken for this program I felt very uncomfortable and my shorts were extremely tight.

The first week of the diet portion of this program was more difficult than I expected but once it was over the rest was a breeze.  To this day I still follow the diet options provided to me.  I became more aware of the foods I was consuming and rarely, if at all, crave any of the “bad” foods I consumed prior to starting this, i.e.  breads, pasta’s, Oreos etc….

The second thing about this program that was difficult was executing some of the exercises in the first two weeks of this program.  One I was out of shape, and two, I have never done any of the exercises before.

When I say difficult, I mean it was a good difficult.  I was able to challenge and push myself to complete the workouts and feel good afterwards.  I did not notice much of a physical change in my appearance but, physically I could feel the change.  I was able to add weight and increase my repetitions in my sets.  I felt healthy and stronger.  When conducting physically demanding activities I no longer felt fatigued or weak.  Generally I felt lighter on my feet.   I also notice my endurance level had increased.

Although I was not able to notice a physical change, I was complemented on my appearance.  I was told I looked like I had lost weight and generally that I looked good (more tone and thinner in my face and trunk).

When I put on my shorts for the final picture, I noticed a change.  They did not fit.  Instead of being too tight, they were too loose and I had to pin them in the back so they would not fall off. That in itself made me feel good about this program.

I have not felt this good, physically, in a long time.  I love the way I feel and continue to follow the diet and exercise program provided to me.  I would recommend/challenge anyone to complete this workout!!”

I was not alone while completing this workout. The other participants along with Dr. Kristin provided lots of motivation!!”
